Revamp and recap of the week of 9/12-9/17

So back in 2014 I had started this blog as Zee's WWE History. Life had gotten crazy after I moved so I had stopped writing. Life has changed for me and I felt like it was time to start back up again. I am cleared out the old posts here and am basically making it a fresh start as Zee's Wrestling History.

A lot has changed in 8 years. We now have a steady #2 promotion in AEW, Vince McMahon is no longer running WWE, and promotions like Impact, NWA, MLW, and more are receiving increased exposure and success. Stars that were thought to be on the rise have come and gone with new ones taking their place. Wrestlers who we thought we had seen the last of in the ring have come back and delivered exciting matches. It is certainly a great time to be a wrestling fan.

Before I start the recap of the past week, I want to mention that the blog will mostly focus on WWE/AEW for current stuff. I may throw in some other stuff that I happen to catch.

So this week we are still hearing about some fallout from the All Out incident. The stories keep changing and ultimately the only ones that truly know what happened are those that were there. The big positive out of all of this is that we are getting Mox v Danielson for the World title. Mox defeated Sammy Guevara to get there and Danielson defeated Jericho.

We have yet another fatal four way for the women's title. This time it is on Dynamite. I do not see Toni Storm losing it anytime soon.

Over on Raw we got to see new women's tag champs in Damage Control. Feels like they should have just won the tournament. Also saw Dom and Ripley's weird relationship develop as Judgement Day took out Edge for the time being. US title on the line next week with Lashley v Rollins should be a good match.

On NXT there was a new North American Champion crowned as Solo Sikoa defeated Carmelo Hayes. Seems like black and gold is back as well.

Smackdown featured a Shotzi face turn, Logan Paul challenging Roman Reigns(seriously?) as well as the Brawling Brutes becoming number 1 contenders to the Usos. Solo defended his championship against Madcap Moss with assistance from Sami Zayn.
